This story will only make sense if you read parts 1 and 2 in my Kimberly series. Catch up, and then buckle up.
One Kimberly trains another.
A Kimberly in my upline (again, super successful, top of the pyramid) was my R+F idol. She featured me on several weekly training calls as I rose in the ranks, which was a huge honor. Of course, it was all unpaid labor to get more of the R+F followers to buy more shit and collect more people, but hindsight is 20/20.
In 2016, my MLM friend (I’ll call her Jessica) helped organize an event with me in Seattle. Kimberly was coming into town to speak! It was an enormous privilege to have her grace us with her presence. If you’ve ever organized a large event, you know it takes a ton of time and money. If you read my book, you know that R+F events were not paid for by corporate; we paid out of our own pockets and hoped to recoup our costs with ticket sales, which never covered everything. But we’d done this several times and were used to it. As the main speaker and a top-of-the-pyramider, we knew Kimberly would draw a large crowd. As always, we heavily promoted the event to our networks and through our teams. We were old hats at this. The last thing we did was share it on her more extensive team page on Friday for an event the following Tuesday.
